Hi there! I'm Henry Joseph-Bird, a passionate, fun-loving photographer and videographer based in the heart of South Wales, in the charming village of Tondu. Specializing in candid, documentary-style wedding and event photography, I’m all about capturing those real, raw moments that make your special day unforgettable.

My photography journey started at a young age. Growing up, I was that kid who never put the camera down—whether it was capturing the laughter at family gatherings or the breathtaking landscapes on holiday. This love for freezing moments in time led me to pursue a BA(Hons) in Film Production, which I completed in 2015. But my true education came after graduation when I took to the high seas, working onboard P&O Cruises until 2019. During this time, I photographed everything from the Northern Lights to culinary legends like Marco Pierre White, and even weddings in the timeless city of Rome.

What sets me apart is my relaxed, personable approach. I’m not just your photographer - I’m your storyteller, blending seamlessly into the background to capture the natural, candid moments that truly define your event. Whether it’s a joyful tear during your vows or the infectious laughter of your guests, I’m there, quietly documenting it all without ever disrupting the flow of your day.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m exploring the beautiful landscapes of Wales with my wife and our four-legged fur-baby, Poppy. We’re big fans of hiking, wild camping, and anything that gets us outdoors—especially if it involves cycling! My favourite travel destination? Norway, hands down. From the awe-inspiring Northern Lights to the vibrant cities, it’s a place that never ceases to inspire me.
